Bottomless Bin

Bottomless Bin Recycling transfer stations will collect municipal waste materials for reprocessing into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from landfilling) by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to plastic production. Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" waste hierarchy.

Recyclable materials include many kinds of paper, plastic, wood, textiles and biodegradable waste such as food or garden waste. Glass, metal and ceramics are accepted, screened and recycled in secondary processing.

The need to eliminate land fills

Canada generates more municipal waste per capita annually than any of its peer countries. Canada earns a "D" grade and ranks in last place. In 2009, Canada generated 777 kg per capita of municipal waste, well above the 17-country average of 578 kg per capita and twice as much as Japan, the top-performing country.

A report released by Value Chain Management International lists Canada's annual food waste at a staggering $31 billion in 2014. That is an increase of 15% from the prior year. Looking at it from a globally, one third, or 1.3 billion tonnes of all food produced is wasted,


The Disintegrator

The Disintegrator is a system based on Thermal depolymerization (TDP), a process using hydrous pyrolysis for the reduction of complex organic materials (usually waste products of various sorts, often biomass and plastic) into light crude oil and methane gas. It mimics the natural geological processes thought to be involved in the production of fossil fuels. Under pressure and heat, long chain polymers of hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon decompose into short-chain petroleum hydrocarbons with a maximum length of around 18 carbons.
